I planted a few seeds in our fall container garden. This morning I decided to get a couple pictures. It’s so awesome when the seasons change. The air is so nice especially after a rain. The air is so clean and fresh. It’s like starting fresh. β€ Love that! This is two of our containers.

Some yummy endive coming up in this container and radishes. The marigolds have been here all summer.
We have been getting a lot of rain the last couple of days. I planted some wild flower seeds and these are blooming right now.

Wishing everyone a beautiful day! Planting and watching things grow is all part of the journey this time of year. Milkweed is a plant that I found out about when I injured my knee some years ago. A friend told me of a place that made a healing balm that helps with pain and helps restore mobility. It is full of antioxidants and packed with omega 3 and omega 7 fatty acids, magnesium, zinc and calcium helping to fight pain and inflammation. This is where you can purchase this balm and seeds if you wish. https://milkweedbalm.com
Milkweed is the sole food for Monarch butterflies. So when planting this beautiful plant you are helping the butterflies migrate to and from Mexico or California.
I have found that this plant, this balm has been very helpful as I have grown older and have some aches and pains. It has also helped to heal my knee.
Last year I decided to grow some in my container garden. I didn’t know how well they would do in Arizona. This year they all came back and are even stronger than last year. The flowers are so very beautiful.

This last container has had a slower go of it. It might need a little more sun. It’s at the other end of the garden by some trees. But still very beautiful . I am going to be adding some compost and helping everyone along their way.
I love this plant and everything about it. It brings me joy everytime I look at it’s bright orange flowers.
