This is one of our latest handmade, beaded leather messenger bags. It’s a very large fringed bag made in soft burgundy leather and features an extra pocket inside and one on the back of the bag. This messenger bag is all hand stitched.
I started by beading the turtle.
Once the turtle is finished we set it aside. Now we create the bag.
Once the bag is completed I attach the beaded turtle . Once sewn down, I lace around it with leather lace. This gives the bag an extra dimension.
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out this one of a kind messenger bag. This bag is made to order. If you would like a different color or size, feel free to contact us from our website thunderroseleather.com
Hi there friends. My blog is now ad free. I didn’t have to start all over and I registered a domain thunderrose.info. I really thought I was gonna have to start over but yea, no, I didn’t. I was just about to and my friends at wordpress wrote and helped me out. So I can keep on with this one. I am so grateful because I have put a lot into this one and starting over even though that can be cool, right now I would rather keep on trucking with this one. Plus I didn’t really need another blog.I have blogged myself and others here for many years now. Just feeling very Grateful right now!
It’s Monday and it’s a beautiful day in Arizona. Our fall weather is here especially at night. Did you all catch the harvest moon this weekend! It was so fantastic. It came up so big , bright and beautiful.
This week I made a cool turtle. It is a work in progress turtle. The turtle is all finished but I haven’t made the bag yet.
Here is the turtle
I am pretty sure I have decided what kind of leather bag I want to put it on. It will have lots of fringe. I love fringe! When it’s all done I will do a blog post to show you.
So that’s it for now…. Fall is only a couple days away. Happy fall to all!

I love handmade art and so appreciate all the time and love that goes into each piece. We are now into the New Year (2016) and I am so Grateful for all the artist friends I have made along my journey. I love working with my beads and leathers everyday but I also really enjoy sharing other artists who work so very hard everyday to create a real special piece of handmade art.
My friends at The Deadhead art Alliance Team on Etsy have some stunning art that I would love to share with you today. Take a look!
