Good morning friends! I would like to show you a beaded wolf paw pipe bag that we made recently. This pipe bag is made in soft saddle tan leather with chocolate brown lace. It measures 8 inches wide and 20 inches long with 18 inches of usable space for your pipe. It is all hand stitched and has tied fringe down the sides and off the bottom of the bag. We decorated this chanupa bag with red glass crow beads and tin cones. It has a braided double drawstring closure and a 4 point braided shoulder strap. Good morning! We have finally come around to really nice cooler weather here in Cornville, Arizona. It was a very dry hot summer so this is a real relief. I decided to show a beaded belt bag that we made a week or so ago. It is made in soft saddle tan leather and along with the belt loop we made a 4 point braided strap so our customers can wear it as a shoulder bag as well as a belt bag. This leather hip bag has a beaded eagle. I started beading the beaded eagle first. Here is a work in progress picture. I had just finished the rosette.

This beaded eagle has the eagle in the center and the 4 direction colors around the outside.
The next thing is making the belt bag and sewing the rosette down . Once the rosette is sewn down it’s time to lace around the beadwork.

This was a fun bag to make. I love all animals wolves, dogs and all others. This fringed leather handbag is done in soft black leather and has lots of fringe. Measurements are 11 inches tall x 10 inches wide x 2.75 inches deep. It is all hand stitched and features an extra pocket inside and one on the back of the bag. Good morning friends! It’s been a pretty hot summer here in Cornville Arizona. I am happy to say that our monsoon season is here and we are looking forward to some rain. Today I would like to share one of our latest handbags.
If you love the color red you are going to love this fringed red leather crossbody handbag. The leather is soft and very durable . This deadhead art bag has a Grateful Dead stealie rosette on the front of the bag. This bag is one of a kind and ready to ship.
This is the Grateful Dead stealie beadwork. The cabochon on the front of the bag is a glass cab. I beaded around the glass cab with glass fire polish beads and then glass seed beads. I always lace around my beadworks to give them an extra dimension to the focal point on the bag.
This is one of our latest handmade, beaded leather messenger bags. It’s a very large fringed bag made in soft burgundy leather and features an extra pocket inside and one on the back of the bag. This messenger bag is all hand stitched.

I created a different beaded rosette this week and love the way it turned out. First I got all the beads and stones I wanted to use . As you can see I started off with a simple yet elegant turquoise stone cabochon. Around the turquoise I added some glass fire polish beads in a turquoise green color that went with the turquoise cab. From there it was some of my favorite colors of glass seed beads that I thought would look real pretty in this colorful sunflower.
Once I had the rosette done I decided what color of leather this beaded rosette would look good on.
We have a variety of hides in the shop so I take the beaded rosette off to the leather shelf and start pulling hides down. This time I picked a wonderful mahogany color hide. It is one of my favorite colors. It reminds me of the red rocks in Sedona.
Now it’s time to decide what kind of bag do I want to make. This time I decided to do one of our favorites which is a simple fringed handbag. It’s great for a phone and a few other items. It’s also a great place to keep a special journal.
We cut out the bag, lace it up and now it’s time for the beaded rosette to be added. I glue it down then I sew it down. Then I lace around the rosette giving it a beautiful extra dimension. As you can see in the picture.
Good morning! My blog has a new look. I found out that my old theme was going out so I had to decide what theme to use. It’s not that easy to pick one. Long story short, tada! Hopefully when I publish all will look great. In the world of computers there are always changes to keep up with. Just like life……. 🙂

The beaded turtle has a beautiful turquoise cabochon in the center as a focal point. The beads next to the turquoise cabochon are fire polish glass beads I purchased from Janice at Flutterbye Bead Supply on Etsy. The seed beads are size 11 and I sell them in our bead and leather supply store Thunder Rose Supplies.

Measurements on this tote are 10 inches tall x 10 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches deep. It has an extra pocket inside. This leather tote makes a great everyday bag. I carry one this size and love it.

As you can see there is a lot of room. I wear mine crossbody and I find it very easy to open and close with the antler tip closure. It is very easy and convenient to get in and out of and the antler tip closure is very secure.

We have been working on some new projects . Today I would like to share one of our new , ready to ship deadhead art bags. This one is done in palomino buckskin and has a beaded stealie with dancing bears and a turtle on a glass cabochon for a focal point on the front of the bag. I beaded around this beautiful cabochon with green and purple beads.
This bag measures 7 inches tall x 5.5 inches wide and has a 48 inch four point braided shoulder strap. This deadhead art bag has an antler tip closure on the front of the bag.
This picture shows that this leather bag would be a great place to keep your phone and few other things when you want to travel light and take a few items with you. This crossbody bag is light and the fringes can dance with you.
This is a closeup of the beaded rosette I did for this bag. It is one of my smaller deadhead art bag rosettes. I will be making more of these in different styles and look forward to sharing them with you. So stay tuned! 🙂

Today I would like to show you one of our latest creations. This handbag has real long fringe on both the front and back of the bag and a beaded turtle done in beautiful earthtone fall colors. The crossbody bag measures 9.5 inches tall (not including the fringe) , 8.5 inches wide , and 2.75 inches deep. It has an extra pocket inside and one on the back of the bag. The tied fringe is 20+ inches long. Not everyone wants their fringe that long so we always make our bags the way you prefer them to be. We are happy to make your bag with shorter fringe , another color and a longer or shorter shoulder strap. The shoulder strap on this bag measures 48 inches making it a great crossbody purse.
The beaded turtle has beaded eagle feathers in the center of the bag.
