Be Yourself

Good morning! It’s the middle of the week and so much is going on I am just gonna write. A lot of people like to plan out what they are gonna say or do on a blog but myself I just go with what comes in the moment. Usually when I make a plan it changes right in the middle of it all anyway.  Just like this post I started yesterday and I made it this far and a friend called and I changed direction. So here I am again today one day past the middle of the week.  What got me thinking about planning and blogging is Etsy is teaching about the best way to blog , how to’s . I’ll just weigh in and say be yourself. You and your life no matter what that looks like is where you are and that is good enough. Not everyone has all the perfect words , perfect pictures , perfect studios and whatnot.

Like John and I ,  we are  minimalists. We live within our means and we really don’t try to be anything but what we are. Now in our society that may be seen as not ambitious or whatever but I have watched the illusions that people have put out their about themselves to the point where they are even fooled about who they are. So be yourself .

I mean I have been in business for almost 30 years now. I have a successful business that was started before the internet. I had no idea what a blog was. After getting online one of the things Etsy was saying back then was get a blog. So I did. I had no idea or clue.

I still learn something new all the time but all in all ” be yourself.”

My first camera came from my beautiful daughter Shannon. She had more than one. We used to take all our pictures with a vintage camera. The digital ones are pretty cool! We have now upgraded and bought a new one.

There is all the new and improved programs to different sites but I have to say

” not always so” improved for who?

So it is fall now and the hummingbirds have migrated south and the fall air is magical as always. I will be happy to see them again in the spring.

This week I have been busy with a few projects.

I have some new beads in the house that I am stoked about.

I have these beautiful mint green beads

When I first looked at these beads I was in love. A very soft healing color of green that would look good in some of my leather and bead projects. As a matter of fact the other morning when I woke up I had an inspiration waiting for me right up front in my mind. I am looking forward to playing with these. I bought plenty so I put some in our bead store to share with you.

Here is a link to these beads

Also I was able to get some pink beads . They are real pretty too! They are a little darker than my last ones but I really love them.

These pink beads are so soft and pretty. They are size 11 just like most the beads I work with. I really like that size. Just works good for me.

You can find these in my bead and leather store .
